Thanks. Always believe in you and have faith. It is just a matter of time. We all are very lucky that we have ST with us to guide.

  3. Hi URD,

Your performance is extremely good. Why are you trading only one lot? What will make you more confident to trade more lots?

    Thanks

      Thanks. Why only one lot?
      1) I am still in a learning phase. In learning phase, applying knowledge, tactics, execution etc to market and preserving capital has been important. Making money is not that important.
      2) The performance review thus far has been only for May and June which have good volatility historically. I would like to see how I perform during the phase of low volatility, low range for a prolonged period.
      3) I am not a full time trader. I work as a production manager with an ITES-BPO company full time. Trading with one lot gives me mental peace as sometimes if I am not able to focus and goofs up, there is not much loss.

  5. Hi URD,

Great going.. Managing Day Trading with Day Job is a tough thing & one gets fully exhausted in the evening. Happy to see your good management.

    Thanks,

Thanks. I took the time off during trading hours and compensated it by working late in the evening most of the days during last three months. Focusing more on trading has started taking a toll, I feel. I will have to start focusing on my work more before it gets too late. Lets hope for the best..

How do you manage? I believe you also continue to work full time as an engineer. Correct me if I am wrong.

    2. Hi,

Yeah, I also work full time as a Manager in a mechanical company. In trading, my spouse helps me a lot. She is equally interested in trading & is involved with me from last 1 year. She is full time trader now. Credit goes to her as Exits are generally of her, not mine & we earn on exits !!

      Thanks,

  9. Sir.

Congratulations on your trading consistency. It is encouraging for other aspirants to see the success and effectiveness of the method as practiced by you. I understand from your performance report that around 2.3 is the cost per trade for 1 lot of NF. May I know your broker and would you have any recommendations as I am considering to open a trading account with a good discount brokerage service provider.

    Regards,
    KSG

Thanks. My broker is Ventura. I have been trading with them since long. They are full service broker, not a discount one. So brokerage would not be in comparison with the discount broker. If you are planning to trade with more than one lot, discount broker should be the preferred one.
